2016 "Adjunct Faculty Excellence" Award Recipients
Terri C. Bateman has made extraordinary contributions to the education of engineers. In her 12 years at BYU she has coached 21 capstone teams, mentored students in innovative product design and compliant mechanisms research, and worked with students developing humanitarian products. Terri also advises the BYU student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers.
Tracianne B. Neilse is a role model for women in physics, aspiring scientists and established professionals. Students love her engaging teaching style and supportive mentoring; colleagues admire the significance and variety of her scholarship; and the acoustical community values her involvement at the local and national levels and her commitment to outreach activities.
